fonejacker hits the spot March 18, 2010 Mr. D. S. Spencer (england) Whilst not every sketch is to one's taste the fact remains that on the whole it is brilliant comedy. The second series was my favourite particularly Donald Donaldson and Du Frais, generally great stuff.Enjoy.
fonejacker rocks July 1, 2009 blizzy (Italy) Fonejacker - Series 1 - Complete [DVD]
Very funny. Quick shipping; especially since it went from the UK to the US to then go back to Europe to an Overseas military base.
Buy this Doovde February 5, 2009 TheGerbilTamer (London) The multi-talented Kayvan Novak lends his many voices to this comedy classic, basically the `Fonejacker' manages to wind up unsuspecting members of the public with his various guises such as George who loves requesting people's bank account numbers and inform them of their `huge' win on various lotteries, the phonetically-challenged Mr Doovde, a middle-Eastern man who loves asking Directory Enquiries for businesses such as Durvvvess (DFS) and Hoooommmve (HMV). My personal favourite is Terry Tibbs, a cockney car dealer and general wide-boy who loves trying to buy various items with such terms as `seduce me' and `talk to me'. There is a mix of other characters too and they blend in well with the tone of the show, especially the `automated' ticket lines - boop!
Special mention must also be made of the animation throughout the show, which brings the characters to life. The extras on the DVD are fairly impressive and include `the making of the various background videos' and extra unseen material.
Not that funny January 27, 2009 Billy Ray Cyrus (Bali) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Fone Jacker is one man and his phone with 10 different voices/accents and he has created some brilliant characters: Terry Tibbs used Car salesman- "Much Love"
And the hilarious Nigerian George Agdgdgwngo who greets men with "Good Afertnoon Madame", Goooood Afternoon Madam indeed, collect your Ugandan Dollars when you give your bank Account number to George...
You are Mr...Smith?
"Is that your sort code?"
and the Internet service Providings chap - "You Going To Complainings Saying I Dont Speak English Properiing"
"Would You Be Interested In Swiching Your Internet Service Providings To A Provider That Provides A Faster Service Of Internet Service Providings Than Your Current Providings."
Donald Donaldson is perverted and not funny. The Mouse is silly and unfunny. Mr Doovde, a camel-riding lover of electrical goods who talks in bewlidering abbreviations is amusing because he gets a fantastic reaction from the fone victims. Mr. Miggins, the old man who just can't come to grips with the modern world is unfunny.
So thats it folks there is not much more you can do with a telephone and a funny accent. Series 1 is much better then series 2, ergo series 2 is poor.

Brendan Scouse Steve Clarke.
Hilarious! September 24, 2008 Ms. Natasha K. Hinds (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've started watching Fonejacker on E4 and it was very hilarious..even the african man (George) he made me laugh a lot down to the floor.
Also I like the whole characters and himself known as the fonejacker(Kayvan Novak). This is the best comedy prank calling show in Britain...that's why I'm giving a 5 star rating.
Well recommended. Watch it. :D
