5 out of 5 stars New moon CD   July 28, 2010

Another twilight related gift for my daughter's birthday! Arrived speedily and in perfect condition. A fantastic soundtrack, but, as you might expect, not really a mood lifter so listen to it after rather than before a night out!

5 out of 5 stars Easily stands on its own   July 27, 2010

This soundtrack fits the film perfectly. I have heard it called depressing, but I think the tracks fit the tone of the film without being depressing at all. It would be odd if the music was all upbeat and bouncy, wouldn't it?

There are several standouts for me: Possibility, Slow Life, Meet me on the equinox and Satellite Heart bring to mind the heartache, whereas Friends, Monsters and I belong to you have more of an upbeat feel. Thom Yorke's Hearing Damage is probably the track of the album, rather like Paramore's Decode was the standout on the Twilight soundtrack.

I think a sign of a good soundtrack is, when hearing the song in the early stages of owning the album, it immediately brings to mind the scene it came from in the film. These songs definitely do that. If it can then stand up as a good album in itself, it's really a winner. This soundtrack achieves that too.

There isn't a bad song amongst them and, although some of the artists are well known already, a lot of them I hadn't personally heard of before. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for them now.

This soundtrack is brilliant, I love it very much and it just beats the Twilight soundtrack. I definitely recommend this cd especially if you are a Twihard fan.

Thoroughly pleased with the product. It arrived quickly as promised and was in perfect working condition, although was a little dissapointed that the inside of the case was broken, but otherwise great.

Excellent, once again, great music in this CD, loved the Twilight score but this is better. Now have all the Editors music since listening to this CD.
